Hanoians in my mind
It is believed that Hanoians have an elegant lifestyle. So exactly is it true or false?
The fact is that when coming to Hanoi, you will be impressed by people’s elegance in communications and in their courtesy in behaviors.
Hanoians have a nice voice. With high accuracy, correct pronunciation, their voice is represented for Vietnamese’s. They often speak with moderate speed, clear tone. I am really grateful to some Hanoians friends for their helpful advice and corrections about my pronunciation which is affected by the local voice.
According to the researcher Hoang Dao Thuy, Hanoians like the generous and kind lifestyle. Indeed, they usually use a soft handling in relationships but it is effective. I have lived in Hanoi for 3 years and had some experiences working with people here. Most of them are flexible, delicate in communicating as well as dealing with the issues in the real life.
I appreciate their confidence and soft skills. Maybe, the reason is that they had chances to contact with the progressive culture since they were very small. In addition, Hanoi capital owns the good socio- economic conditions which are better than the other areas. Therefore, it seems more convenient for Hanoians, especially for students to concentrate on their study, developing themselves not only about the knowledge but also about the lifestyle.
I learn from Hanoians that we need to behave delicately, control ourselves, keep calm in dealing with the problems. Unless we are patient or careful in behavior, it can lead to the unfortunate consequences, affecting to our social relationships.
