Today I would like to talk about how satisfied I was when receiving good customer service from a mobile phone shop a couple of months ago. That day, I was on the go when my boss called me with an important phone call. While I was talking on the phone, a young boy on a bicycle hit me from behind, making me lose my balance and drop my phone. It was a strong and versatile device, but not strong enough to withstand the crushing pressure, so its display and touch screen both broke in seconds.
I wasn’t ready to give up my old electronic gadget, which I’d been keeping safe for about four years. Then I decided to take it to a phone store, where a young, good-looking salesperson came out and gave me a big smile. After saying hello, I told the technician that I wanted to have it fixed. Because this was an old model, the store didn’t have any spare parts for it anywhere in the country. But the store manager came and said that if I was willing to give him more time, he could buy the “display” and “touch screen” from another country so that they would fit my phone better. I told him to go ahead and fix it in any way he thought would work.
Even though I had to pay some extra money, I was able to get my phone back after about two weeks. But overall, I was happy with the service because both the salesperson and his manager went above and beyond in terms of professionalism, salesmanship, and customer care. Even better, the manager gave me coupons for my next purchase. Without their help, I wouldn’t have been able to keep all the photos and important information on my phone.
